the squawking birds, the moaning trees they’re witnessing your ridin’. The rain-soaked fields are drying out the sky is wide and clean all around you. You’re medium size star bound they will let you drown, turn you upside down, but they can’t take your heart. The path you took so long ago is coming to a dead-end. You seek your own way to be true it comes out of the blue as you know it. Medium size star bound they can make you drown turn you upside down but they can’t take your heart. The straightest line, the longest road is gonna have a slow turn. Ravine is deep next to the bend it’s real it takes you one more breath and you get there. Medium size star bound they will let you drown, turn you upside down, but they can’t take your heart.

Barbed Times 03:54
Can’t say how long it takes to go but I’m just running wild. Blue demons took me far away through never ending rides. When I look back can’t say it’s real the failure’s what remains. No longer road to lead me here just speeding in the rain. And well I took my stand and packed all my belongings, convinced myself there was no other way, then I started up the engine, hit the highway, since then I haven’t come back yet. Our crazy ways, our wounded pride how we’ve been so hell-bent. To you my babe I never lied I did it to myself. What happens to your temper, what about your state of mind? Too late to say, there ain’t no blame just hang our heads and maybe cry. And well I took my stand and packed all my belongings, convinced myself there was no other way then I started up the engine, hit the highway, since then I haven’t come back yet. We’re just two high walls too hard to climb I wish I were there to see you, but I can’t.

Instead of nothing I got a wheel. I’ve got my pockets filled up with misery. Since I gave my babe the last goodbye I maybe found myself, maybe I’ve just found myself Instead of nothing I got a feel, few crooked records supposed to give me a meal. And I gave my babe the last goodbye. I maybe found myself, maybe I’ve just found myself. So I’m burning a thousand miles on a highway, oh such a pleasant drive. And my babe, well, she don’t know I maybe found myself. A little lazy, a little crazy I think I’ll go off again. Instead of nothing I got a wheel, still got my pockets filled up with misery. Where’s my babe? I told her bye bye bye I maybe found myself. Maybe I just found myself. So I’m burning a thousand miles on a highway, oh such a pleasant drive. And my babe, well she don’t know i maybe found myself, maybe I’ve just found myself. A little lazy, a little crazy I think I’ll go off again. A little lazy, a little crazy.

Paranoia is drawing nearer. Everywhere you go you can touch it and you can feel it. Somebody settles down, somebody is on the run. Bound to a threatening western sky, gonna get my money babe the way I learned to get by. Dodgin’ bummers stretched for miles, it’s not about the money maybe it’s me just looking for a ride. Some would care some would not need it. Some get to know what they’re doing has no more meaning. Somebody settles down, somebody is on the run somebody settles down, somebody let you down. Somebody settles down, somebody is on the run. somebody settles down, somebody won’t return. Bound to a threatening western sky, gonna get my money babe the way I learned to get by. Dodging bummers, stretched for miles it’s not about the money maybe it’s me just looking for a ride.

Get me a highway. You’d better get me a wheel, play some Dave Dudley’s, get me some time to kill. Freight train a-comin’, and coming to this town. You say you love me babe I won’t be foolin’ around. You know lady I called it quits. That really hurts me babe but that’s what I mean. There’s too much love into my heart into my head. I gotta do that. Freight train a’ comin’. Coming into this town. You said you love me babe, I won’t be fooling around. Too many shadows along my way. You see me passing by, you don’t know where I’ve been. You know lady I called it quits It really hurts me babe but that’s what I mean. There’s too much love into my heart into my head. Goddam I gotta do that. I just can’t hear you, what you say? You know lady I’m rolling quick, you really get me fucked up babe we both can feel. So many roads into my heart into my head. Goddamn I gotta do that. Gotta do that.

Boundless 02:17
Drifting gets you lone. Eyes are burning, hands are shaking. Try to do it good enough, half is fun and half is sacrifice No matter how you feel you’re gonna make it. Grab all of your money and get away. You gotta keep it real as you can’t fake it and make it back to your home country. People’s life is going on and ours is passing through they get it Once we knew who we were, commitment that was what we’re meant to be. In disconnected minds mood goes up and down as you can see. No matter how you feel you’re gonna make it. Grab all of your money and get away. It’s hard to keep it real as you can’t fake it and make It back to your home country.

It’s just a miracle that you’re still standing, feel the burden on your knees. Your heart grown empty, in a hand a bottle in the other a pick. And wishes you would never tell me, thoughts are burning deep, your smile has gone. Your eyes are looking around searching for the song. And I recall the words that you once told me: “everybody sings no blues at all. They’re just pretending, at least that’s what I get”. Gather up your wishes, put them on a pile . You wanted them to burn then you found her on the top again. And you’re so sick of talking to those strangers, a Goofy mask that’s what you need to keep from hanging. Pull yourself together getting over with it. You ain’t got no chance can’t go home alone and drink it, been a few weeks since you have gone away. You might be friendly but that is not today. Gather all those wishes, burn them on a pile. You were losing control but you found her on the top again. You’d better lay your body on the ground till you can’t hear any sound. You will be counting every single minute, day and night till you find her look at you from up the stairs. It’s just a miracle that you’re still standing, feel the burden on your knees. Your heart grown empty, in a hand a bottle in the other a pick. And wishes you would never tell me. Everybody sings no blues at all. They’re just pretending at least that’s what I get.

I saw my career going downhill, I saw my heroes left and gone, memories and comebacks and normal and weird things I hardly can count them all. You said it’s fun, as a matter of fact, you wish all this was yours. Every time you’re leaving every time you arrive every time you need some love. There must be a great commitment they all say and despise as they all get you know that kind of feeling when you can’t relax? Well I’d say I got blood in my rhythm babe. Want to know what I’m gonna do babe? Drinking and kicking and picking and taking the blame. And when your life was showing its bill you got to realize your wrongs and rights. Get over your troubled mind, getting low, getting high, feeling lone. Oh lord I’ve never ever signed any deal and I still got some miles ahead. Memories and comebacks and normal and weird things I hardly can count them all.

Apprentice 07:15
I love you babe, I miss you more than anything. I’m lying low. I’ve been delayed. God knows how long it’s gonna take and it ain’t real funny when apprenticing you ain’t good at nothing yet. I reconsidered, but it is much too late. I need you babe. I changed my mind about you but I’m lying low. I’m stuck so bad face down drenched in my bitterest tears and it ain’t real funny when apprenticing you can’t fit in nothing yet. I reconsidered, and it is much too late. And it ain’t real funny when my head starts spinning it’s my darkest hour coming to remind me I’m alone. I love you baby and we can make up for it. I’m lying low. I felt betrayed drown in the shitpile that I crave and it ain’t real funny. I’m apprentice since I learned how to be myself. I reconsidered, but it is much too late. Alone.
